1992 buick lesabre security light and anti lock light came on car wont start?

I have a 1992 buick lesabre with the dynaride system in it. I have had no problems with it recently, ran fine, my anti lock brake light and security light had come on but was running fine came home from work shut the car off and went outside the next night to go to work and won't start. The radio and lights all come on. But my brake pedal is very hard to push it seems like it is locked up. Could this be the starter or an electrical problem or something to do with the anti lock brake system?|||turn on key 11 minits thain turn off 20 seconds and start car|||If it's more than an anti-theft key problem which is common on GM cars, then maybe the computers have an error code that could help diagnose the problem. You have an OBD-I generation diagnostic bus whose codes can be read out on you dashboard. Also check http://www.mycarstats.com for your model car and similar owner complaints and related service bulletins.|||is the key the little chip on the key clean the key with alcohol or go to the delaer to get a new key

don't go to any lock smith|||this happened to my deville it is one either like they said the transmitter on the key wich is not a chip in anyways it is just a transmitter that completes a circuit in the ignition cylinder. chances are though is the ignition cylinder is bad it happens alot to the older cars with transmitter keys|||Chip on the key could be dirty, clean that with alcohol as was said.

The "turn ignition off, wait, then..." procedure the other guy listed will you get past the security system.

If the cleaning doesn't help, try a second set of keys if you have them. That will prove whether it's the key or the ignition cylinder. Problem stops: key. Problem continues: ignition switch not reading the key right.
