ABS (Anti-Lock Brake System) Problems?

my car just started flashing the ABS light and I don't have a single clue what to do or what it even means... do i need to take it to a car shop or is there a way i can solve the problem myself??? HELP PLEASE!!!!|||Yes you should have it checked. But if it comes back on again, be aware that they sometimes malfunction in really cold weather. This is normally due to a decrease in tire pressure.|||check brake fluid

check brake pads

check abs brake sensor

yes take it to a shop|||It could be your anti-lock braking system needs some type of servicing, or it could just be that your brake fluid is getting low. Check your operators manual and the reservoir for the correct fluid and amount needed. Only a dealer with proper equipment can diagnose any brake system code with their computer. Do you activate your ant-lock brake system from time to time? If you don't, that may just be the problem. It's like other parts of your vehicle, if you don't use them, they eventually don't work correctly. Good luck!|||Just go to any autozone and they will scan the vehicles computer for free and then you will know what you need to do..............
