Is its worth payring $ 1000 extra for Anti Lock Brake System( ABS) when buying car.?

Does it help to have ABS or its pain!|||Depends on where you drive and your skill level.

Since you have to ask, I'd say yes, you should get then, especially if you live someplace where the roads get slippery in bad weather.

ABS senses wheel lock-up, and pulses the brakes to retain steering in emergency situations.|||ABS is usually standard on a car now adays!|||Yes, it is worthy. An anti-lock braking system (ABS) is a system on motor vehicles which prevents the wheels from locking while braking. The purpose of this is to allow the you to maintain steering control under heavy braking and, in some situations, to shorten braking distances (by allowing the driver to hit the brake fully without the fear of skidding or loss of control).|||pay for the option... most people react to an emergency situation that warrants stopping by stomping on the brake pedal and hanging on for life... ABS will allow you to steer the car while you are doing this...|||I'v had ABS for years and knowing how to use it doesnt matter its garbage!!........more problems to go wrong and the expense for the hydraulic module.|||does help in certain conditions and if you know how to use it properly some people think the noise and vibration in the pedal means that its not working properly. some insurers may have lower premium for cars with abs as it is a safety feature.|||$1000 vs. Your Life!|||I really thought all cars came standard with at least rear abs. Anyway, for someone who has to ask that question, the answer is absolutely. ABS brakes are a wonderful safety feature for most people. Myself and other enthusiasts may like the old style, but for many of today's drivers, ABS and stability control are valuable options.|||I THINK THAT THE SELLER IS TRYING TO PULL ONE OVER ON YOU BECAUSE ALL VEHICLES TODAY COME WITH (ABS) BRAKING.|||It helps...most cars have it standard now anyways...what car are you looking at?
